Our club is a not-for-profit community-based Australian Rules Football Club that plays in the Victorian Amateur Football League, one of the most respected and oldest sporting associations in the world.

The VAFA is for players who do not play for money, but rather for the love of the game.

At PBAFC, none of our players get paid. Instead, each season, every player pays subs to play football.

These subs, along with club sponsorship, grants and fundraising efforts through canteen and bar sales, raise the necessary funds to effectively run the club each season.

In order to provide the best medical trainers, coaches, resources, facilities and equipment, the club needs to raise approx. $1200 for every player to take the field each season, regardless of the team. This amount also covers the VAFA fees, umpires, Darebin Council fees and utility bills.

This season, every player will be required to pay $625 (incl GST) to play.

But you can help reduce these costs by sponsoring a player or a number of players for $275 (incl GST) per player.
